Billing and Payments Schedule

1. What forms of payments does Victor Media accept?

Victor Media accepts payments online via PayPal or by check. Checks may be made payable to Victor Media and sent to:

2. What is the Billing Schedule for projects?

Payments are due and payable 50% upon signing contract and 50% upon completion of project:
The project starts when the contract is signed and a deposit is made (in the form of 50% of the total amount agreed to in the contract).
For larger projects or longer time frames, incremental payments could be due as the project progresses; this would be defined in the contract.
Upon completion of the website, the final balance will be due and payable. Once the final payment is received, the newly developed website and files will be uploaded (via FTP) to the client’s website (or to our servers depending on whether hosting is required)
Additional work, not included in the contract, will be added to the final balance.

Scheduling & Timeframes

1. How long will it take?

Victor Media will start on your website as soon as the contract is signed, first payment and content in final form is received. Typically a website will take approximately 30 days to complete. Larger sites may take more time and smaller sites may take less time. The timeline will be established for each project.

Timelines are defined for each step (Consult, Plan, Design, Develop, Implement, and Debug). It is essential that content is received from you within the approved timeframe to ensure that your project is completed efficiently.

2. When will my project get started?

Victor Media will schedule the project and establish the timeframes for each step upon receipt of the deposit and signed contract.

3. What is the client's involvement in the design process?

We thoroughly discuss the project at hand with our client from the beginning. We encourage the client to bring in any samples, color combinations/swatches, and ideas they may have. During the design process, the client is asked to approve certain milestones before work continues. At the conclusion of a project, the client may request the artwork in various formats.

4. How do I check on the progress of my job during the design process?

The client is kept abreast of the progress of their job through our approval process. We present the project to the client at certain stages, or milestones, and wait for approval before we continue work. We find that this process keeps the client involved and prevents any breakdowns in communication. In between these milestones, the client is free to call in to get an update.

5. How will I receive my design project once it is finished?

A finished project is yours upon receipt of final payment. At your request, we will supply the electronic files to you on CD, floppy, or through e-mail. We also keep a copy of your project on file for later updates or should you lose your copy.

6. I don't know where to start. Can you help me?

Feel free to call or email us. We'll listen to your needs and tell you what your options are. A job may seem overwhelming until you have the right experts helping you out. We can put things in perspective and offer solutions that you may not have even considered.
